• There are multiple airports available in the area. The nearest airport is the Cherry Capital Airport (TVC). This is a full-service commercial airport that offers major airline service (Allegiant, American, Delta, & United) along with direct flights to and from many major cities. Other larger MI airports include:
  • Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR); 2.5 hours
  • Capital Region International Airport (LAN); 3 hours
  • Detroit Metro Airport (DTW); 4 hours
    
• Airport Shuttle: The Park Place Hotel and Conference Center offers complimentary shuttle service to and  from the Cherry Capital Airport.

 Public Transportation Services

When you're in the area, public transportation services make it easy to get around.

Link on Demand is a ride-hailing service in Traverse City similar to UBER or Lyft. Rides can be requested either in real-time or up to one day in advance. The cost of a ride is $6.00 per one-way trip or $3.00 for reduced-fare eligible persons (students, seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans or active military). 

The Bayline is a free bus route that runs seven days a week from 6 am to 9 pm daily, with buses every 15-17 minutes. You can track the location of buses in real-time using the BATA Bus Tracker. This tool makes it easier than ever to plan your BATA trips around town.
